It was a pleasure to design an activity to include in the 2009 Annual. I chose to focus on the topic of value in organization in order to help leaders discover and appreciate the talent and meaning often hidden within the hearts of their employees. The idea is that sometimes, when we need something and feel inclined to go out and get it elsewhere, chances are it is already within our grasp, right under our noses. The activity promotes a spirit of inquiry and openness, requiring only that leaders listen well to what others have to say.
